While Amazon announced a major presence in Bellevue earlier this year, Facebook will also be an increasing presence. Amazon already leases office space in the former Expedia tower and others in Bellevue and has announced plans to build the City’s tallest tower. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, Facebook just signed leases for for two buildings, early 500,000 square feet in the city’s upcoming transit-friendly Spring district–which will feature light rail service. This will continue to drive demand for housing all over the Eastside and with interest rates at all time lows, it’s a great time to buy ahead of this demand.
